What is RSS?
RSS is a convenient XML standard which can be used to display news or any other information you like. The difference to normal websites is, that RSS files can be displayed by other programs (not just by your browser) - so-called news readers.
What means RSS?
RSS means "RDF Site Summary". Another meaning is "Rich Site Summary" (version 0.9x und 2.0) or "Really Simple Syndication".
Why RSS?
eMail newsletters are out. Too much spam. But how to stay tuned and up to date without browsing your favorite websites all the time?
The answer is RSS. RSS informs you about our latest tips and recipes. We already mentioned news readers - these programs will bring you the latest tips on your desktop. And if you are interested in one of these tips, just click and you will be able to read the whole tip on our website: Your browser will start and display the tip.
The advantage of RSS: You only see what you want - there is no "RSS spam".
