Asian cooking for lazybones

01/06/07, 23:21 - 1.067 views previous tipto sub categorynext tip

The Asian cuisine is known as a fresh and laborious cuisine. But at home you can cook Asian food very easy and fast. Because Asian people cook very often with sauces which are already done and which you can buy in every Asia Shop. For example "Hoi Sin Sauce". This is a sweet, thick and darkbrown sauce.

In ca. 20 minutes you can cook your own Asian meal:
Boil Basmati rice.
Pan on the cooker, some oil in it and while it’s getting hot, cut some vegetables (e.g. celery, field garlic, green cabbage, carrots). Roast gently the vegetables and mix them with some tomato puree for the colour. Who likes can also do some onions in the pan. Flavour it with salt and pepper. When the vegetables are done, extinguish them with water and mix them with Hoi Sin sauce.
Meanwhile roast gently the Basmati rice in a second pan. People who like it hot can flavour the rice with chili and/or garlic.
Now mix the rice with the vegetables. Enjoy your meal!

Tipp: Variegate!

Use different vegetables, spices and sauces, noodles instead of rice and meat (chicken, pork, turkey hen...)...
