Soft boiled eggs

03/31/06, 21:10 - 1.249 views previous tipto sub categorynext tip

I don’t have soft boiled eggs very often. That’s why I called my mommy.

OK, let’s go:
Boil some water. Take a pin and prick a little hole in your eggshell (at the rounder side). Now you carfully put the eggs into the boiling water. Wait for five minutes and get your eggs out of the water: Soft boiled eggs.

Tip: If you need several eggs, take a dishtowel and wrap your eggs. Now you can put all eggs into the water at one time. Thus your eggs will be boiled perfectly.

posted 04/13/06, 20:09 The tip with the hole in the eggshell is pretty cool. I never did that. But will try. I always put the egg into the cold water and let it get slow worming up untill boiling. Than 3 more minutes...and there is the perfect soft boiled egg.
