Stinky Microwave? Clean with lemon juice
Need to clean the microwave? Cook half a mug of water for a few mins first, it will soften all the gunge and make it easier to remove. (Don't forget the ceiling of the microwave either). If your microwave has a strong smell of something you cooked previously (these are usually fishy or curry odours which are hard to shift) similarly cook a mug half full of water with a good old squeeze of lemon juice in it. By the way, don't use strong smelling cleaners to clean micro, especially not lemon flavour cream cleaner (this goes really ukky). Washing up liquid and water will suffice once you've done the mug of water thing.Readers' comments (1):
